Deek's bread is pretty delicious (and the brushetta they serve in the cafe is soooo good), but i don't like that they use soy in most of the breads, including the pizza bases (which are really yummy too).

I've been eating the Vitality range for a while now, and all the breads are really good - the 'Roasted Seed' and the 'Olive' ones are my favourites. I get them in IGAs.

How great! I have heard good things about Deeks but I live in Brisbane so I have never been there. Have you tried Lifestyle Bakery bread? I find it to be the best gluten free bread that I can buy easily. The Chia Seed and Raisin loaf is bliss and I love their pizza bases. If I ever go to ACT I will go to Deeks!

Hi Janet,
I have heard great things about 'Elm Tree cafe' on Cimitiere st in Launceston.
Check out this link for more restaurants that offer gluten free:
http://www.tas.coeliac.org.au/villi_news/wheretobuy.pdf
And as always, I suggest finding accommodation with a kitchen so that you can prepare your own meals if you need to.
Happy travels!
